Overview of the FIRST LEGO League
The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a global robotics competition that encourages students to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through hands-on learning. Teams of students design, build, and program LEGO robots to complete specific tasks, while also working on a research project related to a real-world problem.
Inaugural Event in BUFSD
The first-ever FIRST LEGO League competition in the Buffalo City School District (BUFSD) took place on May 3, 2025. This event marked a significant milestone in promoting robotics and engineering education among young students in the area.
